Registrations now open for 2018!

It’s been confirmed that the 2018 Naki Run Amuck will be supporting Surf Life Saving Taranaki! The annual event will be held 13th May 2018 and we’re anticipating this will be one of our biggest events yet. Last year we managed to raise $8,000 for the Taranaki Rescue Helicopter, which is an amazing achievement. If you’re keen to support Surf Life Saving Taranaki this year, get discounts on your entry, or want to check out some of our new features – read all about it below.

Kids event

Last year we opened up the Run Amuck course to the kids. We’ve listened to all of your feedback and are looking to make the 2018 kid’s course even better. We’ll be extending the course to 2.8/3.4km, so there will be plenty of opportunity for the kids to get muddy. There will be two separate courses for the kids – one for school years 4,5 and 6 and a year 7 and 8 course ($10 per participant).

Get stuck in

When: 13th May 2018

Where: Urenui Beach

What: The main events are a 5km or 10km fun run filled with obstacles to challenge yourself or your team. TSSSA secondary students can enjoy a 5km fun run, and the kids’ course is a 2.8/3.4km muddy challenge.

Why: The proceeds from the Run Amuck event go towards a selected charity each year. This year your entry will go towards supporting Surf Life Saving Taranaki. Our local beaches and community are protected each year by our Surf Life Saving clubs and this is a fantastic opportunity to give back while having a bit of fun.
