Registrations now open for 2019!

It’s been confirmed that the 2019 Naki Run Amuck will be supporting New Zealand Land Search and Rescue Incorporated (LandSAR) Taranaki! Last year $11,000 was raised through the Naki Run Amuck event, with the funds going to multiple voluntary groups including the main beneficiary Surf Life Saving New Zealand.

The annual event will be held on the 14th April 2019 and we’re anticipating this will be one of our biggest events yet with addition of a new family race! Early Bird Registrations

Kids Event

From 2017 we’ve opened up the Run Amuck course to the kids. We’ve listened to all of your feedback and are looking to make the 2019 kid’s course even better. This year the kid’s course will be run as one race including all school Years 4-8 over the span of a 3.2km race for $15 for early bird registration and $20 from April 1st.

Families Event

Get stuck in with the family this year. Parents will be able to run with their children (up to school Year 8) on the 3.2km course. The family ticket costs $110 (early bird) per family and includes 2 adults and up to 3 children (up to Year 8). The Family Course will be will be the same course and length as the Kids Event.

Spot Prizes

Each year there are a number of spot prizes to be won, ranging from a stay in a luxury hotel to dinner vouchers and more. Run Amuck is a fun event where people like to get properly dressed up in costume and are often rewarded for their effort! So get prepared to get muddy and have a great, fun time.

What: The main events are a 5km or 10km fun run filled with obstacles to challenge yourself or your team. TSSSA secondary students can enjoy a 5km fun run, and the kids’ course is a 3.2km muddy challenge. New to this year is a Family Course where parents can run with their kids!

Why: The proceeds from the Run Amuck event go towards a selected charity each year. This year your entry will go towards supporting Land Search and Rescue Incorporated (LandSAR) Taranaki. The put in an extreme amount of work to help our community in times of need and this is a fantastic opportunity to give back to this awesome cause, while having a bit of fun and challenging yourself.
